AEO accreditation Elite Le Havre

Elite Le Havre has been accredited the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status by EU customs. Considered a secure, reliable partner by customs, Elite Le Havre will benefit from simplifications in the customs procedures and facilitation with regards to customs controls relating to safety and security.

Elite Le Havre was the last Elite office in Europe to receive the AEO accreditation.

ABLCC membership strengthens Elite’s leading role in the Middle East.

With this Arab-Belgium-Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce membership Elite is looking to further strenghten its leading role in the Middle East. Having its own operational set-up in Saudi Arabia, Elite Paloumé Khonaini Co, Ltd., covers all operational Saudi ports and is fully integrated within the Elite network. Involved in export & import business of a.o. Chemicals/Petrochemicals, Pipes, Machinery, ... Elite also has extensive experience in inbound traffics for construction site projects.

Elite's European headquarter in Antwerp is part of the Expert Group 'Packed Chemicals'.

The Antwerp Port Authority has set up several communication structures, amongst which the expert group "Value Added Logistics for Chemical Packed Goods". This expert group brings together high-level service providers active in chemical supply chains and the Port of Antwerp. Aim is to gather expert knowledge on the current position of the Antwerp region with regards to import and export of containerized chemicals in order to further develop its potential.

AEO accreditation Elite Antwerp

As of 17th September 2010,
Elite Europe’s headquarter in Antwerp has been accredited the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status by EU customs. The AEO regulation encourages companies to increase security within the supply chain, in exchange for incentives which will improve its efficiency (e.g. less inspections, lower customs risk classification…) and ultimately reduce costs. In adopting the AEO regime, the EU is aligning with similar measures introduced by other countries (C-TPAT,…).
